The NFL has turned the NFL draft into primetime TV, and with that comes a long night for fans of the Buffalo Bills.

The NFL draft starts at 8 pm, and the Bills are drafting 30th overall, which, based on the history of previous drafts, the Bills should be announcing their 1st round draft pick around 11:27 pm. Of course, that only happens if the Bills don't trade up or down during the draft. Last year, the Bills traded out of the 1st round, making their first pick of the draft on Friday.

How Does The NFL Draft Work?

The NFL has broken the draft into three days. Tonight is the 1st round. All 32 picks will be announced before the end of Day 1. Rounds two and three will take place tomorrow, starting at 7 pm, while rounds 4 through 7 will happen on Saturday, starting at Noon.

Teams have 10 minutes to make their pick in round 1, 7 minutes in round 2, 5 minutes in rounds 3-6, and 4 minutes in round 7.

How Many Draft Picks Do The Buffalo Bills Have?
