As the NFL regular season wrapped up this week, several NFL teams fired their head coaches, and once again Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady has been linked to some of the openings.

Last year, Brady interviewed with the Atlanta Falcons before he was passed over and so far this season he has been linked to the head coaching openings in Chicago and New York.

The Jets have already requested permission from the Buffalo Bills to interview Brady for their head coach opening.

So who would replace Brady if he leaves?  Right now there is one person on the staff that might have the inside tract.

The would be current Bills QB coach Ronald Curry. Curry joined the Bills this past offseason and he has worked with Josh Allen on a daily basis and we have seen Josh grow as a player.

While Curry has only been with the Bills for one season, he is no stranger to the coaching world and the NFL.

He coached the wide receivers, quarterbacks and was an offensive assistant with the Saints for 8 years. He also was an offensive assistant with the 49ers in 2014.

Curry also played 8 seasons in the NFL, mostly with the Raiders.. While he played quarterback in college, he played wide receiver in the NFL.

If the Bills were to promote from within if Brady leave, my guess is that Curry would be the guy. Of course, the Bills could look outside the team for their next OC, or even better yet, Brady stays with the Bills for one more season.
