The Buffalo Bills Monday Night Football clash against the Cincinnati Bengals could land on a new network.

ESPN has the rights to broadcast Monday Night Football, but they are also broadcasting this year's Rose Bowl and the two games could conflict with each other.

This year's game features Penn State taking on Utah in the 109th annual Rose Bowl. That game is set for a 5 pm kickoff and while most football games wrap up within three hours, if the game goes into overtime there could be an issue.

ESPN will play the entire Rose Bowl game from the start whistle to the end whistle which means if that game goes past 8:30 pm, which is the start of the Buffalo Cincinnati game, they will move the Bills game to ESPN 2 until the conclusion of the Rose Bowl game.

Most times networks could not move the NFL game, but since the Rose Bowl is considered one of the biggest bowl games in college football it makes sense to keep it on the main network.

Of course, this Bills game is a big game as well. The Bills and Bengals are both playoff bound but the Bills are trying to hold onto the #1 see in the AFC which would give them an opening week bye in the playoffs and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Bengals who won the road last year to make the Super Bowl are also trying to stay in the hunt for a high seed in the AFC playoffs with the hope of getting more than one home game.

If you are recording the game, you might want to make sure you have both ESPN and ESPN 2 ready to go just in case.
