If you ever wanted to be on TV and have your 15 minutes of fame, you will have a chance this weekend. A TV producer needs hundreds of extras to fill a concert hall for a movie shooting this weekend.
Extras Needed For Television Shoot This Weekend
If you want to be part of the TV Show, you are needed this Saturday (6/27/25) starting at 2 pm. The producers of the TV Show "Abilene" are looking for hundreds of extras to fill out a concert hall for a scene in the show.
"Abilene" is a family-friendly TV show that will be released this Fall.
If you want to be part of the shoot, you need to be 18 years old or older. Some people in the crowd will also be picked for featured roles, which are paid!

Western New York Hotbed For Movie Makers
It seems that Western New York is becoming the Hollywood of the East. On top of Abilene filming in Rochester, Mario Lopez and Tony Danza were just filming the Christmas movie "Christmas At The Starlight" last week in Lewiston.
