It was a very lucky night for two Powerball lottery players in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were two "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets sold from last night's drawing.

Each one of those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. One of those tickets also had the Powerplay which was double the prize amount.

One ticket won $50,000, while the ticket with the Powerplay won $100,000.

Monday's winning Powerball numbers were: 21-27-32-48-67 with a Powerball of 17

No one claimed the grand prize so the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is now up to $39 million dollars
