This is one of the hottest weeks of 2024 in Western New York and it is the perfect time to get a sweet treat that will calm you down.

It all depends on where you live. Growing up in West Seneca, our go-to ice cream place was Kone King in West Seneca. If we wanted to get really fancy my mom would take us to Antoinette's on the Hill.

When I lived in Lancaster, it was a quick trip to Frosty's in the village. My son Avry would love to hang out on the wooden bus and enjoy a double scoop of mint chocolate chip.

Now that we live in Hamburg, I pass by Two Scoops every day on the way home from work, and let me tell you that it is a daily struggle not to pull in and order my favorite treat, a large soft serve twist with cherry dip.
