New York Ice Cream Shop Named One Of The Best In The Country

July is National Ice Cream Month and one New York Ice Cream shop was recently named one of the best shops in the entire country.

Yelp! recently ranked the Top 50 shops for Ice Cream across the country and only one New York shop made the cut.

The restaurant review website used total volume and ratings of reviews, along with other factors from January 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023. All businesses that made the list were marked open on Yelp and had a passing health score as of May 1, 2023.

The only ice cream shop in New York to make it into the Top 50 was Bellvale Farms Creamery in Warwick, New York.

The creamery got many great reviews and has an overall rating of 4.6 of out 5 stars based on 442 reviews.

This place was recommended by a colleague and after a light lunch we came here. Ice cream aside the view of where this place is located is worth the trip just for that. We got a few flavors, my daughter getting strawberry and my wife got the great white way. I'm not a huge ice cream guy but wow was I blown away by the taste.

Most of the ice cream places that landed on the list were from warmer parts of the country, which makes sense. When you have warm weather year-round, chances are more and more people have a chance to sample your treats and give you a review.

The good news is that even though only one New York spot made the Top 50, there are still plenty of amazing places to grab a nice ice cream treat.
