5 Cheesy Wedding Songs That Still Work!
Here we are in the middle of wedding season! July and August are HUGE months with hundreds of weddings going on throughout Western New York.
It's a pretty good bet you'll hear these songs...cheesy, CRINGE-worthy even, but they still work. You may want to turn the speakers down (or up) for the sake of your co-workers next to you.
5. Neil Diamond - "Sweet Caroline" - A classic sing-a-long, this song is definitely still a favorite at weddings. It also helps that the Boston Red Sox adopted it. This is one we guarantee everyone will be participating during.
4. John Travolta/Olivia Newton John - "Grease Megamix" - You have to be living under a rock not to know the songs in this medley! The song is also a "90s throwback" because the megamix was put together in '98.
3. Village People - "YMCA" - Yes, you hear the opening few notes and you exchange the, "OMG I can't believe the DJ is playing this one," then you notice the dance floor is packed. It's cheesy, but it works.
2. Otis Day & The Knights - "Shout" - You get two for one with this track. The song combines dancing and starts a sing-a-long. It also helps get the Buffalo Bills fans in the crowd rocking.
1. Everyone Loves Line Dancing. Trust us, this works.
