It is wedding season here in Western New York, and as someone who has attended weddings all around the country, there are some surefire ways to tell you are at a wedding in Buffalo.

1 - The Buffalo Bills Shout Song Is Played At The Reception

We love our Buffalo Bills, and even if you don't follow football, you know the Bills' shout song. Every DJ in the 716 has a copy of I,t and every "Buffalo" wedding will have it played at least once during the reception.

3 - Wings, Wings, and More Wings

Buffalo is the home of the Chicken Wing, and if you want a true "Buffalo" wedding, wings must be present. It could be as an app during cocktail hour, part of the main course, or just as a snack after dinner.

Most couples will have at least one Goo Goo Doll song played at their wedding. Some even choose "Iris" as their first dance song.
