2016 New York State Fair is OPEN -- What You Need to Know

Both the Niagara County Fair and the Erie County Fair are now in the books...next up, naturally, the New York State Fair!

It opens today...so if you haven't yet had your fill of fried EVERYTHING or adorable baby animals or "I Got It!", hop on the thruway and head east!

From the Butter Sculpture to the Milk Bar, some of your favorites will still be there.

More Rides
Three more acres have been added to the midway, with an expanded Kiddie Land, more bathrooms, and 7 new rides, bringing the total to 75.

More Food
Traditionalists will still enjoy the fried dough, sausage sandwiches, and deep fried Oreos...but this year's addition of the New York Harvester is the one that could get me to hop in the car RIGHT NOW.
That, or the "barcycle", a 10-person rolling beer- and wine-sampling feature. Kind of like our Buffalo Pedal Tours, but with booze on board.
