Why Won’t San Fransisco Radio Stations Play Lorde?

Who doesn't love the song 'Royals' by Lorde? San Francisco Giants fans, that's who. The Kansas City Royals are set to face off against the San Francisco Giants in the upcoming World Series, and that explains some radio stations’ Lorde ban.

ESPN tells us:

Two San Francisco radio stations say they won't play the song during the duration of the World Series. A Kansas City, Missouri, station responded with plans to play the Grammy-winning track every hour from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, the first day of the series.

In response, however, Kansas City radio station 99.7 is planning to blast ‘Royals’ every hour, all day long, on the day of the first game of the Series. Great idea this radio guy thinks.

So, does this mean that Kansas City radio stations will ban music from the group' They Might Be Giants?' Hmmm...stay tuned.
