Major Weather Event This Weekend In New York

It has been a terrible start to 2025 weather-wise here in Western New York. Outside of a day or two of some really nice weather, we have had well below average weather, especially on the weekends.

I don't know about you, but the weekends are supposed to be the days you get out and do what you want, but because of the terrible weather so far, we haven't been able to do that.

That changes this weekend!

For the first time in 2025, and for the first time in 6 months, we will have a precipitation-free weekend in the 716. Yep, no snow, no rain, nothing but dry weather.

It gets even better because this Sunday might be the nicest day of the week, and it comes on Mother's Day.

It looks like this Sunday will be a great day to hang out with Mom outside. Whether you take her on a hike or enjoy a Mother's Day brunch on the patio of her favorite restaurant, the weather on Sunday looks amazing. The National Weather Service in Buffalo is calling for sunny skies with a high near 70.
