If you have a fur baby there will be two chances to get them their rabies shots for free this month.

The Erie County Health Department is offering two free rabies clinics on Saturday, September 14th, and September 21st.

This weekend's clinic will be held from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Erie County Training and Operations Center, located at 3359 Broadway in Cheektowaga. While the clinic is free you still have to sign your pet up. You can sign up HERE.

The clinic on Saturday, September 21st from 9 am until 1 pm and will be held at ECC South inside of Building 7 located at 4041 Southwestern Blvd in Orchard Park. You can sign up for the September 21st clinic HERE.

Here are some things that you need to know before you bring your fur baby to the rabies clinic.

Dogs, cats, and ferrets 3 months of age and older are eligible for this clinic.
Up to three pets will be accepted per appointment.
Limit the number of people in the vehicle.
Appropriately restrain pets in a carrier or collar and short leash; no retractable or extended leashes.
