Free Rabies Clinics In Western New York
This month, the Erie County Health Department will be hosting two free rabies clinics for pet owners in Western New York.
The first clinic will be held on September 20th at ECC South on Southwestern Blvd. That clinic runs from 9 am until 1 pm.
The other clinic will be held on September 27th at the Erie County Training and Emergency Operations Center. This clinic will run from 9 am until 1 pm.
Both clinics are Drive-thru clinics.
I have done this twice now with my cat Stamp, and it is super easy to get your pet's shot with the drive-thru clinic. You just pull up, they that your pet, give them the shot, bring your pet to the car, and you are off. It takes like 5 to 10 minutes per pet.
What Animals Can Get The Free Rabies Shot?
According to the Erie County Health Department website, dogs, cats, and ferrets, ages 3 months and older, are eligible for this clinic.
