Trader Joe’s Second Location Set To Open In Western New York
Shoppers in Western New York should be excited, as a 2nd Trader Joe's location is expected to open this week in Western New York
Second Trader Joe's Location Set To Open This Week
A second Trader Joe's location is set to open this week in Western New York. The location was expected to open up today, but the new opening date is now set for December 12th. The new location will be in the old Applebee's on Transit Road in Clarence. I drove by the location yesterday, and crews were working on signage outside and putting on the finishing touches on the inside.
The store has been in the works for just about a year and will give people in the Northtowns a second location to shop at. The other Trader Joe's is located in Amherst on Niagara Falls Blvd.
Trader Joe's is known for carrying fewer items than other grocery stores, with most of those items being "private label" products. This gives shoppers a lot more variety and access to goods that might not be normally available in the area.
History Of Trader Joe's
Trader Joe's was first opened in 1967 in California and has expanded to over 600 locations across the United States. New York shoppers love shopping at Trader Joe's, as the location in New York City, located at 72nd & Broadway, is the busiest in the entire chain.
