The Worlds Largest Passenger Jet Clips Another Plane

Are our jumbo jets becoming to jumbo? Living in the buffalo area the largest plane I have ever boarded here has been a 737. When you make your connection you are usually greated with a much larger plane depending on your destination. I love to travel and see different parts of the world. The Pan Am Clipper ships is the largest jet I have ever been on to my knowledge. Pan Am that's a blast from the past. Roll ahead to 2011 and the Airbus 380 makes that jet look like a commuter plane.

The airbus 380 is the worlds largest commercial passenger Jet and it's just pushed aside it's first little plane. Air France Flight 7, bound for Paris, was taxiing on a runway when its left wingtip struck the tail of Delta Comair Flight 6293, which had just landed from Boston and was taxiing to its gate at Kennedy last night. Looking at the size difference is amazing. I'm thinking David and Goliath, Mutt and Jeff.
