Many people in Western New York are waking up to snow-covered driveways and roads this morning as another blast of snow came our way late last night and overnight into this morning. Plows have been out on the major roads, but many secondary roads are still snow-covered this morning.

Snowy Sloppy Start To Our Wednesday In Western New York

A winter weather advisory issued on Tuesday has already been lifted for all of Western New York, but more snow is still expected throughout the morning.

Several inches of snow came down overnight, mainly in the Southern part of the 716.


I live in Hamburg, and this morning there was around an inch of new snow in my driveway, so I had to pull out the old shovel to clear the path to get into work. Many of the side roads that I take were not touched by snowplows and were slippery.

The main roads were both plowed and salted, but some black ice could still pop up since the temperatures are below freezing.

Warmer Weather Is Headed To Western New York

If you are like me, you are sick and tired of the cold and snow. Well, there is some good news for you. The Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for a warmer than normal month of March, with the average temperature in the mid-40s.

This Is Worst Street For Potholes In New York State

In my opinion, the worst street for potholes in New York is Pearl Street between Court Street and Mohawk in downtown Buffalo, New York.
