Sloppy Wet Weather Expected This Afternoon In Western New York
It will be a dry start to our day in Western New York but that will change later this afternoon.
We are looking at a cloudy start today but rain and wet snow are on the way to most of Western New York with a majority of the snow in the Southtowns and Southern Tier.
The rain and wet snow is expected to move in early this afternoon and it could create some issues for the commute home from work or school. The rain and wet snow will create slushy conditions and that could lead to possible accidents as stopping could become more difficult.

If you are traveling this afternoon make sure to be aware of the weather and road conditions and make sure to give yourself plenty of space between you and the vehicles around you.
Along with that rain and snow, a major cooldown is also on the way to Western New York.
Today's high will be around 40 but then we will see a drop in that temperature starting tonight heading into the weekend. Tomorrow's high temperature is expected to be around 32 and then it will slide into the 20s for Saturday and Sunday.
