Open Letter To Private Snow Plow Drivers In New York
Winter weather is here and with that is plenty of snow.
That means you will see plenty of snowplows on the road and in your neighborhoods.
First off, I want to say thanks to all the snowplow drivers out there. It is tough work, you drive long hours, and you have to get up really early or stay up really late to get the job done.
I do want to ask one small favor, especially for the private snowplow drivers who do driveways and neighborhoods.
Can you please stop leaving piles of snow in the middle of the roads? It seems to be happening a lot more often this year.

You will be driving down the road that has been plowed when all of a sudden there is a massive pile of snow just sitting in the middle of the road.
It came from someone's driveway. The private plow driver just finished and when they backed out they left this big pile in the middle of the road.
It can be dangerous and it is very annoying. The roads are nice and clean and then all of a sudden, bam there is a snowpile in the road.
To be honest, I have never driven in a snow plow so I am not sure how hard it is to see but if you back out with your plow, you should know that some snow will be pushed into the street.
If you could just push that back to the side, that would be great.
