Offensive Lineman Richie Incognito announced his retirement from the league at the age of 39. Incognito's career had a lot of ups and downs and many people considered him one of the dirtiest players in the league.

During his press conference, Incognito stated that injuries during the past two seasons were the cause of his retirement.
Incognito signed with the Dolphins in 2010 and played with Miami until 2013 when he was suspended by the team for his treatment of fellow teammate Jonathan Martin. His suspension was lifted in 2014 and did not play at all that season.
He re-signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2015 and was named to the Pro Bowl that season. He stayed in Buffalo until 2017. He was ranked 97th on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2016 by his fellow players.
In 2017, Incognito was accused of using racial slurs during the Bills' playoff loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. After the incident, Incognito announced that he would retire but had a chance of heart in 2018 and wanted to play in the league again. He failed to show up to workouts and the Bills released him in May in 2018.
Incognito signed with the Raiders in 2019 and was placed on Injury Reserve after the first two games of the 2021 season.
