A previously unreleased song by The Doors, "She Smells So Nice," is coming out, more than 40 years after the death of lead singer Jim Morrison.

The track, with vocals by Morrison, is included in the 2-CD 40th anniversary edition of the rock band's album "L.A. Woman," which hits stores on January 24.

The original song was the last the group recorded with Morrison. He died at age 27 from a suspected drug overdose in July 1971, after the release of "L.A. Woman," the band's sixth studio album, which also contains the hit single "Riders on the Storm."

One of the group's producers discovered the 40 year old track while reviewing "L.A. Woman" session tapes ahead of the album's re-release.
