If you plan on running your AC in your car, there is one other button that you also have to push in order to maintain that cool air.

That button is the recycle button. Most people don't use it and it could be causing you to be hotter than you need to be.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING THE RECYCLE BUTTON?

When you use the recycle button with your AC on, it helps keep the air cool since it is recirculating the cool air over and over. If you don't use this button, your vehicle draws in air from outside, which is hotter, and then cools it. You will be cooler in the vehicle if you use the recycle button.

Also, it helps keep pollution like wildfire smoke out of your vehicle since it is not drawing in air from the outside.
