We could see some record fall when it comes to our daily high temperature in Western New York.

A warm front is moving into the area today and will bring some VERY WARM weather our way this week, leading to possible record highs on Wednesday and Thursday.

The current forecast is calling for Mid 70s for both those days and that could end up setting new records.

The current record high in Buffalo for October 30th is 74 degrees which was set back in 1946, while the current record high for Halloween in Buffalo is 73 degrees, which was set back in 1971.

We could see both those records fall this week with the current warm front pushing through the region.

The one thing that could hamper our chance of hitting those high temperatures would be rain.

While it looks like Wednesday will be dry, we could see rain move into the area on Thursday which might keep us from reaching that record high.

So while you won't have to worry about your kids' Halloween costume fitting over a winter coat, you might need to find a way to incorporate an umbrella into it.
