Several Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In New York

Wednesday's Powerball drawing was very good for several lottery players in New York State.

While there was no grand prize winner from last night's Powerball winner from Wednesday's drawing, there were several winning tickets sold in New York State.

According to the New York State Lottery, there were no "Big Money" winners from last night's Powerball drawing, but there were 13 4th-place winning tickets. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed out on the Powerball. 10 of those tickets won $100, while three of them had the Powerplay, which tripled the prize amount to $300.

There were also 34 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and had the Powerball. 28 tickets won $100 while 6 others who had the Powerplay won $300.

Since no one claimed the grand prize from last night's Powerball drawing, the jackpot will roll over to Saturday's drawing. The grand prize jackpot for that next drawing will be $82 million dollars.
