WINNER: Grand Prize Powerball Winner Announced

One lucky grand prize winning ticket was sold from Saturday's Powerball drawing.

That ticket matched all the numbers and also had the Powerball to win the grand prize jackpot of $204 million dollars.

The grand prize winning Powerball ticket was sold in California, but there is still good news for lottery players in New York State. There were plenty of winning tickets sold here as well.

Powerball Winners In New York State

According to the New York State Lottery, there were 19 4th-place winning tickets sold in the "Empire" State from Saturday's drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball. Those tickets won between $100 and $200 each, depending if the winning ticket also had the Powerplay.

There were also 76 5th-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York from the last Powerball drawing in the month of May. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 67 of those tickets won $100, while 9 of them had the Powerplay and won $200.

The winning Powerball numbers from Saturday, May 31, 2025, were: 1-29-37-56-68 with a Powerball number of 13.

Yes, one lucky grand prize winning ticket was sold in California. That ticket won the jackpot of $204 million dollars. Since there was a grand prize winner, the jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing now resets to $20 million dollars.

The Powerball is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
