
More “Big Money” Winning Powerball Tickets In New York
Monday's Powerball drawing was a lucky one for a couple of lottery players in New York State.
While no one claimed the Powerball grand prize on Monday, there were two "Big Money" winners sold in New York State. Each one of those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball to win the 3rd place prize of $50,000.
On top of the two "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York, there were also 47 4th and 5th place tickets sold. Each one of those tickets won at least $100.
Monday's Powerball numbers were 20-23-48-59-66 with a Powerball number of 04
Since no one claimed the grand prize from Monday's Powerball drawing, the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is now up to $65 million dollars.

Since the Powerball was launched in 1992, there have been 13 grand prize winners here in New York State. The largest Powerball jackpot ever won in New York was back in 2011.
A winning ticket was sold to a group that claimed the prize under an LLC named 1937 Flatbush Ave Dodgers LLC. They won the Powerball prize of $202 million on June 1st, 2011.
While that prize is the largest Powerball jackpot ever won in New York State, it is only the 5th largest ever won. The top four lottery winners all came from the Mega Millions.
The largest jackpot ever won was by Johnnie Taylor who took home $476 million dollars with the Mega Millions. He won that grand prize back in April of 2023.
