Do you think PanAm would of seen this coming? I know they are no longer with us but the memory lives on with the launch of Pan Am on ABC Sunday nights. An Air India flight was grounded on the runway for 9 hours  yesterday. Bad weather and Aviation rules are to blame for the mess that unfolded.  My friends always laugh when I say" when you fly you have to be ready for just about anything".  I have sat on a tarmack for hours in the past and learned my lesson.

Passengers became disgruntled with the unfortunate situation and lack of food.  Police were called on to the jet to quell the situation. A group of passenger gathered at the cockpit and demanded an explanation from the pilot. The pilot did not emerge from the cockpit, as he should not have. But he could of given an explanation.  Everyone in this situation behaved badly. I feel this could of been better had the pilot explained the situation and the flight attendants given food or beverages. Just as the police were able to come on, they wanted to get off!! I hate to see things like this happen. It would be nice if I had an explanation as to why passenger can not deboard a flight that is clearly not going anywhere. How do you make something like this up?  Thanks for the letter of apology Air India  and  refund, but no thanks.
