Today is the day if you are looking to add a new furry member to your family.

The WNY's Furtastic Adopt-a-thon is today at The Dome on Wherle Drive in Williamsville.

The goal of the adopt-a-thon is to help area shelters including the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter adopt out as many cats and dogs as they can since the shelters are getting crowded. The event will run from 9 am until 1 pm.
