From cryptic tweets to former teammates saying it was a give that OBJ would be joining the Bills, Bills Mafia members have been trying to figure out if the All-Star wideout would be joining Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis to make up one of the best wide receivers groups in the NFL.
That drama ended yesterday when Adam Schefter announced that OBJ is set to sign up the Baltimore Ravens. It looks like a one-year deal worth up to 18 million dollars. At that price tag, there was no way the Bills were going to sign him.
So what does that mean for the Buffalo Bills? There are still some options for the team to improve the wide receiver group.
The Bills have been linked to a trade for Arizona Star DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins would cost the Bills some draft capital as well as them picking up his contract.
The Bills could also use this month's NFL draft to improve the wide receiver spot. There have been a couple of receivers linked to the Bills' 27th overall pick in the 1st round.
One thing for sure is that we won't see OBJ in a Bills uniform this year.
