NEW BOOK: “The Command: Deep Inside the President’s Secret Army”

The Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), includes the classified units, including Seal Team 6 that killed Osama Bin Laden, has another mission that hits closer to home according to a new book by Marc Ambinder and D. B. Grady.

"JSOC is also a key part of the classified contingency plans to preserve the U.S. civilian government in the event of a coup from the military or anyone else."

JSOC, in addition to SEAL Team 6, includes the Combat Applications Groups (Delta Force), is "the President's secret army," according to the book's authors.

When the president travels around the world, a JSOC team usually shadows him. Alittle known fact, it's members are trained to take charge should the mammoth security structure of the U.S. Secret Service break down.

The book, is titled "The Command: Deep Inside the President’s Secret Army" is available on Kindle and iBooks.
