Multiple “Big Money” Mega Millions Winners In New York

Friday night was a lucky night for Mega Millions players in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were three "Big Money" winners from New York State from Friday's Mega Millions drawing.

Each one of the tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Megaball to win the 3rd place prize of $10,000.

Friday's winning Mega Millions numbers were: 8-20-48-58-60 with a Mega ball of 07.

There was no grand prize winner from Friday's Mega Millions drawing so that means the jackpot for Tuesday's drawing is now up $256 million dollars.

If you want to play the Mega Millions, now might be the time to do it. The cost of a ticket is expected to go up next month.

The current price of a Mega Millions ticket is $2 for a regular ticket and $3 per ticket for a ticket with the Multiplier, which allows the prize amount to be double, triple, quadrupled, or increased by 5 times the amount.

Starting in April, the cost of the Mega Millions is expected to increase to $5 per regular ticket and $6 for a ticket with the Multiplier.

Officials said that the increase in the price of the ticker will allow for more winners, big prize amounts for winners, and larger grand prize jackpots.

The new Mega Millions game and cost increase is expected to begin on April 5th.

If you didn't win "Big Money" with the Mega Millions last night, you can still win big tonight with the Powerball. The jackpot for tonight's Powerball is now $$320 million dollars.
