Powerball Winners From Monday In New York

Monday's Powerball drawing turned out to be a very lucky one as there was only one grand prize-winning ticket sold.

That ticket matched all five numbers and had the Powerball and took home over $200 million dollars.

Unfortunately, that one lone winning ticket was sold in Florida, but there is good news for all the Powerball players in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were over 60 4th and 5th-place tickets sold from last night's drawing.

Each one of those tickets matched four out of five numbers or three of out five numbers and also had the Powerball.

Well, those tickets won't make you a millionaire, they did win you $100. Tickets with the Powerplay had their prize doubled. According to the New York State Lottery, 15 winning tickets also had the Powerplay.

While there were no "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York from this Powerball drawing, there have been several sold over the past couple of weeks.

It was just two weeks ago that one Powerball ticket sold in New York matched all five numbers but missed out on the Powerball and took home the 2nd place prize of $1,000,000 dollars. That ticket was sold at the Wegmans at 7952 Brewerton Road in Cicero.

Monday's winning Powerball numbers were: 7-23-24-56-60 with a Powerball of 24
