Mom There’s Nothing To Do!

Don't you love it when these magical words come from your kids mouths, "there's nothing to do". I knew not to say that to my mom. She would immediately give me her list of things to do.  I was instantly transformed from a restless child to a house keeper. Once I finished dusting what was already dusted ....aaahhh play time.

Living in Buffalo there is always something to do. Now is the perfect time to begin preparation for the holiday dinner that is coming up. They will appreciate a trip to the grocery store when they are involved. They will be mommy's sous chef. Teach them about fresh ingredients and how to pick a good apple from a bad one.

Glorious Niagara Falls!!  We have a natural wonder in the backyard!! I don't care how many times I go, it's always beautiful.

A visit to the Hershey store is tasty and fun!!! You will be able to find and eat all sorts of candy and then you can watch them burn it all off.

The Niagara Aquarium is sure to please. They will discover all sorts of exotic fish and aquatic life. If you go you must catch the show with the seals. They are just to adorable.

If none of this interests them may I suggest going outside to play, reading and house cleaning.  Have fun with the kids this week.
