"Did You See It?" was the big question people all across Western New York were asking early on Wednesday morning. There were reports of a loud boom that has now been confirmed as a meteor over Western New York.

Meteor Exploded Over Western New York

With today's technology, pretty much anything that happens is caught on camera. So when people all across Western New York felt and heard a loud boom yesterday morning, a lot of people checked their door cameras and found out that they captured exactly what happened.

Meteors streaking across the sky are a normal thing here in Western New York. Usually, on any given night, you can see a "shooting star" a couple of times every night, but it is unusual to have a meteor light up the sky and make a sound like it did on Wednesday morning.
