Mega Millions Winners In New York State

Someone is waking up a multimillionaire this morning after one lucky winning Mega Millions ticket matched all the numbers to win the grand prize jackpot.

The New York State Lottery announced that one grand prize winning ticket was sold from Tuesday Night's Mega Million drawing. That ticket matched all five numbers and had the Mega Ball to win the $344 million dollar grand prize. That ticket was sold in Illinois.

It was the first time someone won the grand prize jackpot since January 17th.

Here in New York, there were a couple of "Big Money" winning tickets sold from last night's Mega Millions drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball to win the 3rd place prize of $10,000.

Tuesday's Winning Mega Millions numbers were: 1-5-1739-62 with a Mega Ball of 08.

There were also 23 4th-place winning tickets sold as well. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and won $500 each. Four of the tickets also had the Megaplier which double the winning prize amount to $1000.

There were also 95 5th-place winning tickets sold which won at least $200 each. Those winning tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball.
