Mega Millions “Big Money” Winners Sold In New York

The lottery winning continued this week in New York State.

On the heels of two "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets being sold in New York on Monday, the New York State Lottery announced that there were two more "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.

Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball number and took home the 3rd place prize of $10,000.

Tuesday's Winning Mega Million Numbers

Tuesday's winning Mega Millions numbers were 1-20-25-58-61 with a Mega Ball of 22

There were also 25 4th place winning tickets sold in New York with each one of those tickets matching four out of five numbers to win at least $500.

No one claimed the grand prize from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing so the jackpot is now up to $165 million dollars for the next drawing.

The Mega Millions is drawn every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 pm. You will need to buy your ticket before 10 pm on the night of the drawing to be in the running to win.

According to the lottery website usamega.com, these are the most commonly drawn Mega Million numbers since 2015.

#3 - drawn 71 times, the last time was on December 27th, 2024
#10 - drawn 71 times, the last time was on January 28th, 2025
#14 - drawn 67 times, the last time was on February 4th, 2025
#31 - drawn 67 times, the last time was on February 14th.

Here are the most commonly drawn Mega Ball numbers since 2015

#22 - drawn 43 times, the last time was on February 18th
#11 - drawn 40 times, the last time was on September 9th, 2024
#18 - drawn 39 times, the last time was on January 24th, 2025
#24 - drawn 27 times, the last time was on December 6th, 2024
