Someone in New York State is waking up this morning with a lot more money than they had when they went to bed on Friday night.

The Mega Millions drawing took place last night and while no one claimed the grand prize, one lucky ticket in New York is worth $1 million dollars.

That ticket matched all five numbers but missed the Mega Ball number.

The winning numbers for last night's Mega Millions (8/4/23) were:

11-30-45-52-56 with a Mega Ball number of 20

The $1 million dollar winning ticket was sold in Suffolk County at the Bolla 2084 C-Store on the Jericho Turnpike in Commack, New York.

The good news is that even if you didn't win the $1 million dollars, there were still seven other tickets that match four numbers and the Mega Ball, and those tickets are worth $10,000.

The Mega Millions jackpot is now up to $1.55 billion dollars which is the 3rd largest lottery jackpot ever. It is also really close to becoming the second largest.
