The best chance to see the Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower is to look east in the sky. You will want to be as far away from article light and moonlight if possible. Most meteors in the shower will originate high in the eastern sky.

When Is The Best Time To See The Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower?

The best viewing of the meteors will be early in the morning, right before dawn. So if you need to be up around 3 or 4 am for the best viewing of the Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower. During peak viewing, you could see up to 50 meteors per hour.

The meteors of the Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower are fast-moving and leave a "tail" in the sky when they move. They don't look like massive fireballs. You might just see the streak after they move.
