A major storm front is set to move across New York today along it will be plenty of snow.

Starting in Western and Northern New York, Sunday will start out rainy before the temperatures fall and the rain turns into snow.

The majority of the snow will be near Lake Erie and Lake Ontario where some places could get up to 6 inches of snow


 

Out in Central and Eastern New York, there has already been a winter storm warning issued. The rain this morning will turn into snow, with some areas getting up to a foot of snow.

In downstate, the storm will bring heavy rain and very gusty winds.

The good news is that this storm front should move out by Tuesday and we are looking at more normal temperatures and some sunshine for later in the week.
