The Powerball continues to be very lucky for lottery players in New York State.

Just a week after there were more than 12 "Big Money" winning tickets sold in the Empire State, another million dollar winning ticket was sold from Wednesday Night's drawing.

The New York Lottery confirmed that there were four "Big Money" winning tickets sold from last night's Powerball drawing, including one that matched all five numbers but missed out on the Powerball.

That ticket was sold at a Shell Gas Station in Chester, New York, and took home the 2nd place prize of $1 million dollars.

Three other tickets sold matched four out of five numbers and had the Powerball number which means they won the 3rd place prize.

One of those tickets is worth $50,000 while the other two also had the Powerplay which was 2x so they each won $100,000.

Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were: 6-7-12-24-36 with a Powerball number of 15

There was no grand prize winner from the Powerball drawing on Wednesday so Saturday's jackpot is up to $46 million dollars.

This drawing was a lot smoother than this past Saturday when the drawing was delayed for several hours due to due to one lottery jurisdiction needing more time "to complete required pre-draw procedures.

That drawing turned out to be VERY lucky for one person in Oregon because they ended up matching all the numbers and taking home the $1.30 billion dollar jackpot, which was the 8th largest in US Lottery history.
