Lake Effect Rain And Snow Possible For Western New York
It looks like the start of the weekend could be a wet one here in Western New York.
Two storm systems are expected to move across Western New York starting on Thursday and continue through the weekend.
Those two systems will bring lake-effect rain and possible snow showers to Western New York.
The current weather models have temperatures above freezing which means most of the activity will be rain, but those temperatures could drop and produce wet snow in some areas of the 716.
Those two storms will bring snow to parts of New York State this weekend as well as parts of Northwest Pennsylvania. most of the heavy snow is expected to be along the Southern Tier and through Central New York this weekend.
