
Cold Dry June Expected For Western New York
If you were hoping for a kick-start to summer weather in the month of June, you are going to be disappointed.
The long-range forecast from the Old Farmer's Almanac is not what we were hoping for after a cold and wet April and May.
Like you, I can't wait for the summer here in Western New York, but it looks like we are going to have to wait a little bit longer.
June Forecast For Western New York
The Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for a cooler-than-normal and drier-than-normal month of June. Here is a look at what they are predicting for the sixth month of the year.

We are expecting to see a couple of warmer days to start the month of June. Monday and Tuesday looks like they might be the nicest weather days we have had in the past couple of weeks. We are looking at sunny skies with the highs in the 70s.

From there, more rain is expected in the first half of the month with cooler-than-normal temperatures.
Father's Day and the middle of June will look more like summer with lots of sunshine and warm temperatures for the 716.
Things will change as we wrap up the month with more rain and thunderstorms expected.
Overall, we are looking at a cooler and drier than normal month of June in Western New York.
