If you are traveling around the City of Buffalo today you might want to give yourself some extra time to get around town.

Several roads in Buffalo will closed today for the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge that is being held at Delaware Park.

Buffalo Police will close down these roads starting at 5 pm.

Amherst Street
Delaware Ave
Middlesex Road
Meadow Road
Nottingham Terrace

Parts of all of these roads will be closed before, during, and after the race.

The roads should be reopened at 8:30 pm.


The JP Morgan Corporate Challenge is the world’s largest corporate running event. It takes place in 8 different countries at 16 different locations including here in Buffalo.

The goal of the race is to be a link between work and health wellness in the corporate world. Each race is 3.5 miles long and then a massive party is held afterwards.

The race is open to runners and walkers and the race starts around 6:25 pm.

This will be the 41st time the race has been run here in Buffalo. Over the past 40 years, thousands of runners and spectators have participated in the race.

The weather for tonight's race is looking pretty good. There is a slight chance of some light rain but overall it looks like a mix of sun and clouds will greet runners this evening.
