Buffalo Bandits Win Award Ahead Of Playoff Games

The Buffalo Bandits are getting ready for the NLL Finals this weekend and ahead of the series one Bandit player is already a winner.

Byrne tallied a league-leading 135 points (53 goals and 82 assists) in 18 games this season, setting new single-season career highs. He ranked second in assists, third in goals, and tied for third in power-play assists among all NLL players in 2023-24. 

That wasn't the only award that Byrne was nominated for this year. He along with fellow Buffalo Bandit Dhane Smith are finalists for the NLL MVP!

The Bandits will take on Albany in the NLL Championship best-of-three series this weekend. Game 1 is tonight in Albany, Game 2 will be on Saturday night in Buffalo, and if needed Game 3 will be back in Albany on Friday, May 24th.

All the championship games will be streamed live on TSN+ and ESPN+ and here in Buffalo, you can watch the away games live on the CW 23.

Games played in Albany will start at 7 pm and the game played in Buffalo will start at 7:30 pm.

If they win this year it would be the 6th championship in team history.
