A recent podcast was released mentioning one of the Buffalo Sabres captains and he's furious about what they said.

People who follow and listen to the podcast "Spittin' Chicklets" may have seen a clip that has been making its way around social media about Buffalo Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin.  In the clip, one of the podcasters says that he heard from a source that Dahlin has gone to Kevyn Adams and demanded that he fix what is broken with the Buffalo Sabres or he wants out.

He didn't name the source.

Today, Rasmus Dahlin had a chance to respond.  Matt Bove asked him about the video and at first he laughed about it.  He actually sounded confused that anyone would even suggest that he wanted out.  He explained that he did meet with management and he agreed that stuff has to change, but was adamant that he never said he wanted out (of Buffalo).

"It bugs me actually, I get pissed off by that.  I haven't even mentioned the word 'leave'" - Rasmus Dahlin when asked if the podcast statement about him wanting to leave was false.

I'm actually glad to hear this be his response to what is going on.  This is exactly what you want your captain to say when things are bad.  He recognizes that things are not good.  He knows that it will take work to get it fixed.  If he wasn't concerned, you might worry about how much he cares about this team.  But he should be angry.  This team has been below the bar for way too long.
