The start of the 2026 NFL season is coming up in less than 7 months, and next year will be a big year in Western New York. The Buffalo Bills will play their first home game in their brand new $2 billion dollar stadium.

Workers at the new Highmark Stadium have just months left to get everything up and running, and it looks like the job will get done. Check out this latest video that has popped up all over social media of the new Highmark Stadium.

The new season is set to kick off with Thursday Night Football with the reigning Super Bowl Champions, the Seattle Seahawks, hosting. As for the first regular-season home game for the Buffalo Bills, I think it will be on Monday Night, September 14th. Based on who the Bills will host next season, I think that the first game of the season will be against the New England Patriots.

The NFL loves drama, and having the AFC Champions come to Buffalo to battle it out in Week 1 inside a brand new stadium would be epic. If the Bills win, the storyline would be whether last year's Pats were a fluke, and if New England wins, the storyline would be that there is a new team dominating the AFC East and the AFC in general.
