Buffalo Sabres Dyngus Day Polka Song

Today is one of the biggest party days of the year in Buffalo, it is Dyngus Day, and this year, there is even more to celebrate. On top of a huge Dyngus Day party, we are also celebrating the Buffalo Sabres clinching a playoff spot for the 1st time since the 2010-11 season.

Buffalo Sabres Battling For Top Playoff Season

Now that the Buffalo Sabres are in the playoffs, they are battling for one of the top seeds in the Eastern Conference. The Sabres are currently in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference behind the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Sabres are also behind Tampa Bay for first place in the Atlantic Division. As of this morning, the Buffalo Sabres have 100 regular-season points, Tampa Bay has 102 points, and the Carolina Hurricanes have 104 points.

Both the Sabres and the Carolina Hurricanes have 5 regular-season games left, while Tampa Bay has 6 regular-season games left.

The NHL playoffs are expected to begin around April 18th this season, and it is nice to see that Buffalo Sabres players won't be playing golf at the beginning of April.
