A lot has been happening with the Buffalo Bills over the last week or so. Not only did the team lose badly in Baltimore on Sunday, September 29, 2024, but the team has lost several stars due to injury since the start of the season.

As we saw in Baltimore, those missing players have impacted the defense's ability to control teams with big running games. Now, the team will have to deal with losing one of the best pass rushers the NFL has ever seen.

In a surprise announcement from the NFL, future Hall of Famer Von Miller has been suspended without pay for four games for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

This suspension is related to the November 30, 2024, incident in Dallas, Texas, when Miller turned himself into police after a domestic violence warrant was taken out against him by a pregnant woman he was in a relationship with and had two other children with.

Miller was released from custody a few hours after paying a $5,000 bail.

In the 11 months since this incident, Miller has maintained his innocence. Further, authorities in Texas have closed the case and filed no charges against Miller. During the Bills Training Camp in Rochester, New York, Miller had told reporters that he considered the case closed as this situation was a misunderstanding and not anything serious.

However, the NFL doesn't seem to agree with Miller, as they handed down this suspension, which takes effect immediately.

With the four-game suspension, Miller will be allowed to play again in NFL Week 9 when the Miami Dolphins travel to Orchard Park to face the Bills.
