Massive Buffett Restaurant Opening on Transit Road

A brand new buffet is making its way to Transit Road. People are excited about the new addition that will go in the former spot of the Old Country Buffett.

The new sushi and seafood buffet will be in the same plaza that keeps seeing businesses leave--Brennan's Bower Bar, This Little Pig and Bed Bath & Beyond in the last 18 months have all left.

Umi Sushi & Seafood Buffet is set to be at 4401 Transit Rd, Buffalo, NY 14221.

When is Umi Sushi & Seafood Buffet going to be opening up in Clarence? According to WGRZ, they are going to be opened up in the next 6 months or so.

The owner of the Umi Buffet also is opening up the K-BBQ & Hot Pot at 4224 Maple Road in Amherst later this month.

According to Buffalo Business First, there have been over 100 restaurants that have closed in the Western New York area in 2023. That number seems like a lot, and it is, but there have been almost the same amount of new openings in the area. It seems like more and more chain and national brands have been coming to the area including Crumbl Cookies, the Wind Japanese and Thai on Transit Road and Mission BBQ.
