Western New York Family Wins At Halloween

Every year during Halloween, you learn how creative your neighbors and your friends are. You will see all kinds of costumes, from DIY to purchased at the store to a mix of both. 

The best costumes, though, are the DIY-costumes that have a specific Buffalo touch to them. After all, you can’t find those kinds of costumes anywhere else!

There’s a high probability of seeing numerous Josh Allen costumes around your neighborhood this year. I mean, he is the unofficial King of Buffalo. However, you are certain to see some other Buffalo-related costumes of other famous local celebrities that you may have seen at your latest Buffalo tailgate. 

One of the most popular icons at a tailgate is Pinto Ron, and a Western New York family absolutely crushed it this year with their DIY-costume to represent a typical Buffalo tailgate.

The Whipps family costume is one for the books. 

Kari and her husband Brad turned their costume into a Tailgate Party, with their kids going as a chicken wing and a side of blue cheese, Kari as Pinto Ron, and Brad as a Bills fan.

Pretty cool, right? There have been so many cool costumes over the years, with one of my favorites being the Big Blue Water Tower and a Traffic Reporter. 

“Last week, I said, “Wouldn’t it be cool if someone did a couple's costume of the Big Blue Water Tower and an accident since those two naturally go together.”
